Tickets are free and the event is open to the public. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

“The Age of Love,” a 78-minute documentary that was written by award-winning producer and director Steven Loring, follows the adventures of 30 seniors who sign up for an unprecedented speed dating event designed exclusively for 70-to-90 year olds.

According to Loring, who will be on hand to answer questions immediately following the screening, the film is “a comic and poignant tale of intrepid seniors who lay their hearts on the line and discover how dreams and desires change – or don’t change – from first love to the far reaches of life.”

Erich Van Dussen of Gatehouse Media Syndicate says the film is “honest, occasionally hilarious, and emotionally moving.” Katharine Brooks of The Huffington Post calls the film “a touching and funny look into the lives of seniors who just want to find love.”

Partners In Care is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides transportation and other services to help older adults in Anne Arundel County remain independent in their homes. The Pasadena-based organization develops, manages, and integrates innovative reciprocity programs where participants contribute to the well-being of one another.
