Help keep Annapolis in bloom

| May 27, 2016

bloomEach year, the Annapolis Partnership coordinates the Annapolis in Bloom program.

In 2015, the Partnership transformed downtown Annapolis with 50 flowering planters and 136 hanging baskets. Beautiful flowering baskets were hung on the Eastport Bridge, along City Dock, Dock Street, up Main Street, along Church and State Circles, and down Maryland Avenue as well as on West Street to Westgate Circle.

This Main Street™ project is only possible with the continued support of local businesses, residents, the City of Annapolis and Homestead Gardens.

Please donate today to continue this tradition! With your support, our annual hanging baskets and flowering planters will make downtown Annapolis more welcoming than ever — encouraging visitors and residents to shop, dine, stay and play downtown.

The planters and hanging baskets make a debut in late May and beautify our streets into the fall. Each flowering basket costs about $250 to maintain throughout the year, including watering and maintenance throughout the Summer.

Take this opportunity to do your part to keep this tradition alive and growing!
