Blackwall Hitch releases spring-summer menu

blackwallWarmer months bring new taste opportunities at Blackwall Hitch. Award-winning Chef Zachary Pope has developed a fresh line-up for the new Spring-Summer Menu.

“Two great joys of being a chef: providing a new perspective on familiar foods and introducing new things to guests,” said Chef Pope, recently named 2016 Best Chef by the Capital Gazette.  “For example, soft shell crabs are always a winner around here. This season, I’m serving them with a chayote squash salad and lime butter sauce, that adds a unique, crisp summer flavor.”

Among the many new items on the Blackwall menu:

  • Lemongrass Shrimp and Noodle Salad- Lemongrass marinated grilled shrimp, vermicelli noodles, kale, carrots, basil, bean sprouts, jalapeno, cilantro & roasted Virginia peanuts.
  • Greek Flatbread with olives, capers, red and yellow tomatoes, feta and parmesan cheesew, arugula and oregano leaves.
  • Chilled Key Lime Panna Cotta served with fresh Strawberry Sauce and Toasted Almonds

Blackwall Hitch (400 Sixth Street, Annapolis) was recently listed as one of the top rooftop dining venues in Maryland.
