Following the gun fire on April 17, officers increased deployment and investigations in Harbour House and Eastport Terrace communities. Detectives worked tirelessly investigating the shots fired incident and other crimes in the community.  Evidence was collected and processed, interviews were conducted, and several search warrants were executed.  Detectives were able to gather evidence to charge Jeffrey Somerville and Nathaniel Gross.  Somerville was arrested, Gross is still wanted.

Chief Michael Pristoop praised the Detectives in obtaining these arrest warrants, “Despite difficulty in finding cooperative witnesses, our detectives’ hard work and dedication brought these arrests to fruition.  The residents of Eastport should feel a sense of confidence and security as we continue our work in their community,” said Chief Pristoop.

When detectives were searching the residence in the 1100 block of Madison Street for Nathaniel Gross they made an incidental arrest for felony drug possession.  Derrick Stansbury, 25, of Annapolis had approximately 9.4 grams of crack cocaine in his possession.  Stansbury is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $50,000 bond.
