Rams Head Group, an Annapolis-based restaurant and entertainment company, announces the purchase of Reckless Ric’s Bar & Grill located waterside in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

The Reckless Ric’s facility is located on Furnace Creek, off the Patapsco River.   In addition to on-site parking, the location has dockage for boats, allowing guests to arrive by water or by land.   Rams Head intends to transform Reckless Ric’s into a business similar to the Rams Head Roadhouse located at 1773 Generals Highway in Annapolis.  Like all of the Rams Head restaurants, the business will be dining focused, community driven, and family-friendly.

“We are thrilled to add a sandy beach to our line-up of successful restaurants.” said Erin McNaboe, President of the Rams Head Group. “Rams Head Group has been a community-based organization throughout its 25-year history; we look forward to meeting the neighbors of Point Pleasant, and the surrounding areas, in the days ahead.”

During the transition from Reckless Ric’s to Rams Head Dockside, the business will remain open.   Updates to the facility will be worked in slowly, with the goal to officially open as Rams Head Dockside in mid-to-late May.

“Zachary Price will be the General Manager of the facility.  Zach has been a leader within the Rams Head for many years, most recently as General Manager of the Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis” said Vice President of Operations, Michael Lechner. “Reckless Ric’s has built an enthusiastic team, and we welcome them into the Rams Head family.”
