Patrice Drago, %22Downtown%22, acrylic, enamel & mixed media on canvas at Annapolis City HallA new art exhibit will open at the Annapolis City Hall on April 1. This exhibit features expressionist paintings in acrylic and mixed media by Patrice Drago.

Known for her marine-themed lyrical abstracts, Drago has spent the last year of her Maryland Hall Artist Residency developing a body of large works inspired by the original American Abstract Expressionists, including Frank Stella whose works were recently exhibited at NYC’s Whitney Museum. “Forward Motion” speaks to not only the dynamic movement in Drago’s paintings, but also her philosophy of life, which is to look forward and continuously evolve.

  • Exhibit Dates:  April 1 – May 31
  • Meet the Artist Reception:  April 11, 5 p.m.
