Annapolis man wanted on attempted murder charges turns self in

On 03/07 Eric Offutt, 17, of Annapolis, wanted for attempted murder, turned himself in to the Annapolis Police Department.  Offutt was charged as an adult for the shooting that occurred in the 1100 block of Madison St on 02/24.  The 32 year old victim was shot in the leg during a failed robbery attempt.  The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.  Offutt was charged with attempted first and second degree murder, armed robbery, robbery, first and second degree assault, use of a firearm in a felony or violent crime, handgun on person, and possession of a handgun by a minor.  Offutt is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
