Metric To Play Two Shows

| February 29, 2016 | 0 Comments

metric2Metric has been running the alt-rock circuit for years now. They have played with the likes of Imagine Dragons and The Rolling Stones. They have played major festivals around the world, selling out dive bars and stadiums and everything in-between. The Canadian rockers are making two stops in the area this month. One at Rams Head Live! in Baltimore on March 9th the other a few days later at The Fillmore in Silver Spring on March 13th.

Metric is on their “I Can See The End Tour” with Joywave pushing their critically acclaimed sixth studio album Pagans in Vegas. An album that has the perfect mix of dark melodic synths and powerful deep lyrics. The New York Times said “Whether the attitude is deeply cynical or brightly optimistic, the Canadian band Metric keeps its songs neat, succinct and tuneful on its sixth album, “Pagans in Vegas,” making the lessons of 1980s new wave sound current.”
Tickets for the two Metric show are still on sale here(Rams Head) and here (Fillmore). You can also listen to the latest single “The Governess” here.
Metric is Emily Haines, James Shaw, Joshua Winstead, and Joules Scott-Key.
