Abrakadoodle unveils new creative art camps for kids

AbrakadoodleCamp planning time has arrived and creative art education company Abrakadoodle is rolling out its Spring Break Camps, Summer Camps and In-School Field Trips to engage and inspire thousands of children with art adventures that will be offered at schools and community sites. Abrakadoodle is pleased to announce two new camp programs for 2016 that are added to its remarkable collection of more than 20 themed camps, meeting the needs of schools and community sites with a variety of fun camp themes and activities through programming designed for children ages 3-12.

“We have an exciting lineup of themed art camp programs that kids will love, the latest of which we developed based upon 2015 survey results from art education directors nationwide,” commented Rosemarie Hartnett, President & Co-Founder of Abrakadoodle. “Summer is such a great time for kids to unleash their creative potential, and our art camps are designed to spark imaginations while enabling students to discover artists, art forms and styles while taking part in music and games in a fun and inspiring environment.”

Mad About Movies is a camp for kids who love movies and the kooky characters, animations and illustrations in them – from minions to dinosaurs to out of this world environments! Marvelous movies and art together make for some movie madness and fun! Campers learn how movies are made, tell movies stories and recreate favorite movie characters. Kids will enjoy making new friends in a creativity-boosting environment as they explore animation, storyboards, movie music, games and more. Under the Sea Art Camp is sure to make a big splash with kids as they learn all about jellyfish, octopuses, dolphins, whales and get fanciful with mermaids. Kids will use a variety of interesting art tools and materials to create fun paintings, collages, sculptures and more. Campers will dive into designing cool art projects, playing games, reading stories, learning about ecology and examining underwater habitats.

Abrakadoodle’s numerous popular art camp themes – from Camp Build It and Creepy Crawler’s Camp to ZooDoodle Safari and such classic favorites as Pirates, Princes and Princesses and Wild, Wild West, represent a range of interests that engage children in hands-on art and creative discovery at its best. Abrakadoodle works with its site partners to select from among a huge array of popular curriculum and themed camp adventures to ensure that Spring Break Camps, In-School Field Trips and Summer Art Camps meet identified needs and deliver top quality enrichment experiences.

It’s not too late to offer Abrakadoodle art camps and in-school field trips at your location this year. Contact Cecilia Hazelton at 301-464-0700 or email [email protected] to inquire.
