Rotary extends deadline for gala beneficiary

Black TieEach year the Rotary Club of Annapolis holds its Black Tie and Diamonds fund raiser to benefit one worthy cause or organization. The deadline for applications to be the beneficiary for the 2017 event has been extended until Dec. 31, 2015.

Annapolis-area 501(c)3 non-profits wishing consideration should submit the following information:

  1. A copy of IRS 501(c)3 letter of determination for non-profit status.
  2. A list of current Board of Directors with titles.
  3. A statement of the nature of the organization and the intended use of funds from the Black Tie and Diamonds gala (five page limit).
  4. A specific strategy on how the candidate organization will partner with the Rotary Club of Annapolis to sell tickets, to raise funds, to contribute to the pre-planning implementation, and to assist with clean-up.
