Woman arrested for destroying “Black Lives Matter” banner at Annapolis church

blacklivesmatterOn December 21, 2015 at approximately 7:30 am, Mrs. Chari Raye McLean took down the “Black Lives Matter” sign that was in front of St. Philips Episcopal Church at 730 Bestgate Road in Annapolis without permission. She advised she took the sign down because she did not believe in the “Black Lives Matter” motto, rather supported “Blue Lives Matter” and “All Lives Matter” mottos instead.

Mrs. McLean was charged with Destruction of Property on a criminal citation.
