Firefighters are currently operating on a two alarm fire in the 6000 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park, near Cedar Hill Lane and I-695. The call was received just after 6:00 a.m. and units arrived with heavy fire from the two story dwelling. There are currently 60 firefighters from Anne Arundel County and several mutual aid jurisdictions operating on the scene and the fire has not yet been declared under control. One civilian has been evaluated by paramedics and has declined transport to the hospital.
