On October 5, 2015, the Anne Arundel County Police Department began investigating a residential burglary in the 3400 block of Old Annapolis Road in Laurel, Maryland where an electronic tablet was stolen. The victim then installed an interior camera system in their home to capture any other burglaries. On November 7, 2015, the Anne Arundel County Police Department was alerted to another burglary at the same residence that was captured on the interior camera system that recorded the suspect inside of the home.
A review of the video determined that the suspect entered the home, ate food that belonged to the homeowner, and then masturbated into the refrigerator. The suspect then fled the home after stealing currency from the residence.
Det. Erick Patterson #1825 of the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Western District Detective Unit began an investigation and used numerous resources to identify the suspect as a 15-year-old juvenile who lives in the 200 block of Sweet Pine Drive in Laurel. Last week, a search warrant was served at the suspect’s residence where numerous pieces of evidence were recovered including the clothing that the suspect was wearing during the recorded burglary.
