Suricato, Colombian jazz group to perform free concerts in Annapolis and Bowie

Suricato 12The Colombian jazz quartet Suricato will present a free concert at 7 p.m. Monday, November 16 at the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts, 15200 Annapolis Road, Bowie and 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase Street, Annapolis.

Suricato features the roots of Colombian music along with contemporary jazz.  The ensemble is comprised of voice, guitar, bass and percussion.

The performance is sponsored by World Artists Experiences, a non-profit organization that bridges cultures and people using the arts as an international language. The performance is in partnership with the Embassy of Colombia, the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts and Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.
