Police seek public’s help identifying bank robber

On November 17, 2015 at 3:13 pm, officers from the Northern District responded to the Navy Federal Credit Union, 6651 Ritchie Hwy North, for an armed robbery. When officers arrived, they learned that the suspect had approached the teller and produced a handgun and demanded money. The suspect ultimately fled the bank before receiving any U.S. Currency.

Officers and the Aviation Unit canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Suspect: white male, approximately mid 20’s, medium build

Update:

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who, on November 17th, attempted to rob the Navy Federal Credit Union located 6651 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie.

The Maryland Association for Bank Security, (MABS), is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the pictured subject responsible for this offense. Please contact the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Robbery Unit at 410-222-4720 with any information as to the identity of this bank robbery suspect. It appears the suspect has some type of tattoo to the back of his right hand and possibly a tattoo under one of his eyes.
