Annapolis Waterfront HotelThe Annapolis Marriott Waterfront is the newest member of Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott International’s curated portfolio of properties recognized for celebrating individuality.  The hotel has been renamed the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, offering the rich experience of an independent hotel stay that is Exactly Like Nothing Else with all the benefits of Marriott Rewards®.  The hotel continues to be owned and operated by Annapolis-based Thayer Lodging.

Known for its magnificent views of Annapolis Harbor and historic downtown, this 150 room hotel is nestled in the heart of downtown.  Just steps from historical sites, shopping, dining and nightlife, City Dock and the United States Naval Academy, this landmark hotel provides the city’s only waterfront lodging.

In preparation for the conversion to an independent property, the hotel has recently refreshed each of its guest rooms.  These enhancements include luxury linens, bathrobes and towels, a new color palette inspired by the Chesapeake Bay and C.O. Bigelow Apothecary bath amenities.

The 8,600 square foot outdoor patio, one of the most popular special event venues in the region, has been redesigned to further optimize the breath-taking views of the Annapolis Harbor.  Fire pits and casual seating groupings have been added for greater flexibility and year-round enjoyment.

Landscaping, new awnings and the installation of an authentic ship’s anchor at the hotel’s Compromise Street entrance provide arriving guests and Annapolis visitors with a glimpse of the experience that can be enjoyed within the hotel.  The lobby has also been redecorated and now includes a display of United States Naval Academy photographs.

A new hotel logo that clearly reflects the nautical traditions of Annapolis and the anchoring role that the hotel plays in the community has been introduced.

“We look forward to providing our guests with an authentic Annapolis experience and exceptional, personalized service that they will fondly remember,” says Gary Burke, General Manager.   “Our return guests are delighted by the enhancements that we have made and the opportunity to continue to enjoy the benefits of the Marriott Rewards program.”
