Friends of Annapolis Symphony Orchestra to hold Concert of Tastes on Sunday

Screenshot 2015-11-11 17.47.01The Friends of the Annapolis Symphony will host its 34th Concert of Tastes on November 15, 2015 at the Francis Scott Key Hall at St. John’s College from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. 

Concert of Tastes, a winner of the Best of Annapolis award, is a festival of food, drinks, and entertainment. Guests will enjoy a bountiful array of cuisine from local restaurants during the evening. This event also features a Golden Chance raffle & auction, and music by local favorite, The Rob Levit Duo.

Fifteen local restaurants and eateries including Lin’s Cuisine, Baroak, Osteria, Luna Blu, Broadneck Grill/Cantina, Galway Bay, India’s, Annapolis Ice Cream Factory, Sweet Hearts Patisserie, Allot Catering, Graul’s, Green Valley, Jack’s Fortune, Smoking Soldier’s BBQ, and Wegman’s will provide the “Food Tastings”. All the food served by the restaurants and vendors is donated. 

Port Tack Ltd of Arnold has generously donated the open bar and also food-wine pairing lessons. There will be a live auction and a Golden Chance raffle featuring a wide variety of items including dinner at Harry Browne’s Restaurant with Maestro José-Luis Novo, a cooking class, a photo class, art photo by Don Dement, a basket of wines, restaurant gift certificates, other works of art and collectibles, and a round of golf with FASO director Stephen Holt for 3 at The Country Club at Woodmore which includes a cart for 3 and food and drinks before or after the round.

Tickets for Concert of Tastes are $85.  They may be purchased at the door (cash, check or credit card), by mail (sending a check made payable to FASO to P.O. Box 1974, Annapolis, MD 20404), or by phone through the ASO office 410-263-0907.
