Baysox holiday ticket packages available with Jonathan Schoop bobblehead

Each of the packages includes an all-new Jonathan Schoop bobblehead collectible and eight undated Baysox tickets for the 2016 season. The Baysox Holiday Gift Pack features eight undated box seat tickets, your choice of a Baysox adjustable baseball cap and a free Jonathan Schoop bobblehead collectible. This special holiday gift package is $99.95 plus $7.95 shipping and handling. Among the adjustable hats available for fans to choose are the Baysox adult road (orange & black) replica hat, the adult adjustable teal hat with Baysox script logo or the Baysox adult winter beanie hat 

The Home For The Holidays ticket package features eight undated box seat tickets and a free Jonathan Schoop bobblehead collectible. The package is available for $88.00 plus $7.95 shipping and handling. Both of the holiday ticket packages can be purchased at www.baysoxshop.com.

Fans who purchase a 2016 holiday ticket plan will receive all of the benefits of a Baysox season ticket holder next year. Those benefits include: an invitation to take batting practice on the field during a special season ticket holder picnic this summer, early entrance privileges to watch the Baysox take batting practice during the season, discounts on special Baysox events during the season and a season ticket holder gift. 

The current starting second baseman for the Baltimore Orioles, Schoop spent the entire 2012 season in Bowie. Alongside another current Orioles star Manny Machado, Schoop hit .245 with 56 RBI and a team-leading 14 home runs as he helped lead the Baysox to a playoff berth. The Curacao native opened the following season with Triple-A Norfolk and made his Major League debut September 25, 2013. This past season, Schoop played 86 games with the Orioles and hit .279 with 15 home runs and 39 RBI. This will be Schoop’s first appearance as a bobblehead with the Baysox and the only opportunity for fans to acquire this new bobblehead collectible will be to purchase a holiday ticket pack.

Holiday ticket packages are available until Friday, Jan. 8, but must be ordered before Friday, Dec. 11, to guarantee delivery before Christmas. Fans who wish to pick up their package at Prince George’s Stadium will not be charged $7.95 for shipping and handling, and packages will begin being mailed out on or around Wednesday, Dec. 9.  Fans have the option to select a different bobblehead for the package, including Matt Wieters, Chris Tillman and Kevin Gausman. In addition to the holiday ticket package, Baysox Bucks packages are available. Baysox Bucks serve as currency at Prince George’s Stadium, and can be used to purchase tickets, concessions, gift shop items or rides and games in Louie’s Kids Park. Baysox Bucks are available in packs of $25, $50 and $75.
