Yesterday at 7:08PM Caleb Logan Bratayley passed away of natural causes. This has come as a shock to all of us. Words cannot describe how much we will miss him. His incredibly funny, loving and wonderful spirit made us all fall in love with him as a YouTuber, friend, brother and son. We know you tune in to watch each day and eagerly anticipate new videos, but ask that you bear with us while we deal with this tragedy as a family. Please help us honor our, baked potato.
The family also posted a video to their YouTube channel announcing his death of “natural causes.” on Saturday. Speculation on teen websites suggests that the teen may have had an anxiety attack in advance of Hurricane Joaquin.
And the family posted a retrospective of the young teen’s life this morning.
The Bratayley is a pseudonym and a hybrid of “brat” and “Hayley.” The web series has been active for more than 4 years with nearly daily videos from family shopping in Walmart to the minutiae of eating breakfast.
Anne Arundel County Police have confirmed the death to Eye On Annapolis, but have not released any additional information.
