Rash of 7-Eleven robberies in county have police on lookout

Anne Arundel County Police are searching for suspects in three recent robberies of 7-Eleven stores in the Glen Burnie area.

On September 1, 2015 at approximately 3:40 am, officers responded to the 7-Eleven Store located at 4000 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie for an armed robbery. The suspect entered the store, handgun and took an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes from the business. The suspect was last seen running from the store. Multiple units canvassed the area with the assistance of police canine with negative results.

SUSPECT: Black male, approximately 30-35 years of age

On September 02, 2015 at approximately 02:22 am, officers of Northern District responded to the 7-Eleven store located at 7600 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd for the report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the clerk who stated that he was approached by a black male armed with a handgun and was told to open the cash register. Once opened, the suspect removed an unknown amount of U.S. currency and began to exit the store. The suspect was last seen running from the store. Multiple units canvassed the area with the assistance of police canine with negative results.

On September 1, 2015 at approximately 3:00 a.m. officers responded to the 7-Eleven Store located at 7701 Quarterfield Road for an armed robbery. The suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and took an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes from the business. The suspect was last seen running from the store. Multiple units canvassed the area with the assistance of police canine with negative results.

SUSPECT: Black male, 20-30 years of age, approximately 5’08”, 200 lbs
