Navy likely to play in Military Bowl–tickets on sale now

Military_Bowl_FINALTickets are now on sale for the 2015 Military Bowl® presented by Northrop Grumman, benefiting the USO. Starting at $25, tickets can be purchased online at militarybowl.org or by calling 888-841-2787.

Navy, if it is bowl eligible and not selected to participate in one of the New Year’s Six bowl games, will represent the American Athletic Conference against an Atlantic Coast Conference team. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 28, at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN.

“A Navy* vs. ACC matchup is exciting for all of us—the teams, fans, community and the game,” Military Bowl President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. “We look forward to seeing how the season plays out and hosting an exciting postseason matchup in Annapolis.”

For the sixth consecutive bowl season, the Military Bowl will provide at least $100,000 to the USO and complimentary tickets to troops and their families for the game. Ticket vouchers will be distributed through the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore in early December.

Regular tickets are priced at $25, $55 and $80, with a $150 food and beverage all-inclusive Captain’s BBQ ticket also available. For information on suites and hospitality packages, please contact Director of Ticket Operations Ryan Bartholomew at [email protected].

Virginia Tech defeated Cincinnati, 33-17, as the 2014 Military Bowl drew a capacity crowd of 34,277 to Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. According to figures compiled by the Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau, the game generated more than $17 million in economic impact for the Annapolis-Washington market.
