The Anne Arundel Community College Foundation and Arundel Federal Savings Bank are teaming up for their 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on Aug. 27. The successful and long-running tournament has raised more than $100,000 for AACC’s Entrepreneurial Studies Institute programs and scholarships since its beginning in 2005.
The tournament is at Walden Country Club in Crofton and begins with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Rain date is Sept. 4. Players can sign up for $150 per individuals and $600 for a foursome. Sponsorship opportunities also are available, ranging from $125 to $1,600.
AACC’s ESI program helps people who want to start their own business. Students learn legal, accounting, tax and marketing skills, plus business ethics and strategies for nurturing their business. The ESI includes an incubator with office space for eight student businesses.
Sponsor and player registration forms and tournament details are available at http://www.aacc.edu/foundation/golf.cfm. For questions, contact Jo Ann Mattson at the AACC Foundation at 410-777-1309 or [email protected].
