Linda Singh, Adjutant General of Maryland will speak at the South County Rotary Club meeting at 7:30 AM on Thursday August 27 at the Killarney House in Davidsonville.
Major General Linda Singh, the first woman and the first African American to hold that post, will discuss leadership lessons learned as a one-time high school dropout, homeless during periods of her life, who went on to serve in the military, earn her MBA and become, not only adjutant general responsible for the daily operations of the Maryland Military Department but also a Senior Executive with Fortune 500 corporation, Accenture, and a member of the Governor’s cabinet.
Guests are welcome and additional information is available at southcountyrotary.org. If you plan to attend, please send an email to [email protected] so that we can be sure to have plenty of good food and seating.
