Baysox say thank you to fans with fun filled week

dudley boyzThe Bowie Baysox are home Tuesday, Aug. 18 through Sunday, Aug. 23 for a six-game homestand against the Trenton Thunder and Altoona Curve. The week features several exciting events, including Legends of Wrestling Night with the Dudley Boyz Friday, Aug. 21. 

Dollar Dog Night, Tuesday, Aug. 18 7:05 p.m. – Hot dogs are $1 at the first base main concession stand from the time stadium gates open at 6:00 p.m. until the end of the fourth inning (limit two per person, per transaction). Tailgate Tuesday – Fans can watch batting practice, play cornhole, enjoy live music and partake in $2 draft beer specials in the Bud Light picnic pavilion from 5 to 7 p.m.

Wear Orange Wednesday, Aug. 19 7:05 p.m. – Show off your Baysox or Orioles pride with team gear and save $5 at the box office the day of the game.

Baysox For a Buck Night, Thursday, Aug. 20 7:05 p.m. – Enjoy a Baysox game for a Buck! General Admission seats are $1, Reserved $3 and Box Seats $6. Order online by 8/18 or print the coupon from www.baysox.com and present at Baysox box office (valid only 8/21). ALS Ice Bucket Challenge – The Baysox have been challenged by MiLB representatives to complete the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and fans can help. Purchase a special ticket package and receive 2 box seat tickets, 2 hats and the chance to dump a bucket of ice water on a Baysox player or staff member. Special ticket must be purchased on www.baysoxshop.com

Legends of Wrestling Night, Friday, Aug. 21 7:05 p.m. – Fans can meet World Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boyz. Both Bubba Ray and D-Von will be on hand to sign autographs and take photos with fans. Kids Appreciation Night, Saturday, Aug. 22 6:35 p.m. – Featuring Glow-in-the-Dark Baysox T-Shirt giveaway (1st 500 kids ages 3-12). Minion Invasion – The Minions will be invading Prince George’s Stadium! Meet your new favorite characters on the concourse during the game between 6 and 9 p.m. Kids Halloween Party – Come dressed up in your favorite Halloween costume for trick-or-treating and more Halloween fun. Fan Appreciation Day, Sunday, Aug. 23 2:05 p.m. – Featuring Baysox Black and Orange Texting Gloves giveaway (1st 500 fans ages 13 and older). Meet the Team Day – Baysox players and coaches are available to meet fans and sign autographs on the concourse level of the stadium from 12:30 p.m. until 1:15 p.m.  Pitching Coach Alan Mills and that day’s starting pitcher and catcher are not available for autographs. Pre-Game Catch on the Field – The outfield will be open before the start of the game for fans to bring their gloves and baseballs and play catch on the field.

Baysox Baseball – We’ll Knock Your ‘Sox Off. The Baysox 2015 season, their 23rd as the class Double-A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, is winding down at Prince George’s Stadium.
