Watershed Stewards Academy seeks stewards

CBMM_ExploretheChesapeakeSeries_Kayaking2The Watershed Stewards Academy is currently accepting applications for the 2015-2016 Class of Master Watershed Stewards

Watershed Stewards Academy (WSA) certification course trains and supports citizens to become Master Watershed Stewards.  Master Watershed Stewards take action with their neighbors to address the problem of stormwater pollution and restore local waterways in Anne Arundel County.  Prospective Stewards need not have prior knowledge; they will receive training to identify and solve environmental problems in their community and form connections with a local network of energized leaders. Watershed Stewards may choose to serve within the community in which they live, work or worship. See below for information on the application process.

RiverWise Congregations Partnership

Again this year, WSA is partnering with the Alliance for the Chesapeake and Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake to offer the RiverWise Congregations program. Participants in this year’s certification course may choose to receive specialized training to work with their faith communities through the RiverWise Congregations program.
