Volunteer Center accepting nominations for Hall of Fame Awards

VolunteersNominations are currently being accepted for the 11th Volunteer Project Hall of Fame Awards Luncheon which will be on Thursday, November 5, 2015, 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Blue Dolphin Restaurant in Gambrills, MD.

These annual awards, sponsored by the Anne Arundel County Volunteer Center and the Coordinators of Volunteers of Anne Arundel County, will honor volunteer projects that have had the most impact in Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis in 2014-15.

Nominations are invited for volunteer projects sponsored by local nonprofit or faith-based organizations, schools, local businesses, governmental agencies or other groups. The volunteer project must not be for the sole benefit of a for-profit business.

Volunteer Project Nomination Forms are now available. Nominations must be completed and received by the Volunteer Center no later than 5 pm, Friday, October 2, 2015.

Approximately eight (8) award winners will be announced at the Induction Luncheon Celebration to be held on November 5, 2015. Details about the luncheon will be announced.
