Town Hall Tuesday with Joseph Harris at Chesapeake Arts Center

Joesph HarrisThe Chesapeake Arts Center is proud to announce that Joseph Harris will be joining us for a Town Hall Tuesday Event on July 14, 2015 in the Studio 194 Theatre. Joseph Harris is a passionate home cook at heart whose focus and culinary view is to get back to basics and make elevated comfort food that’s great for the heart and good for the soul. Born in 1987 and raised in Baltimore MD, Joseph had the privilege of growing up in a family that loved to cook. His culinary curiosity began at a tender age, when he would visit his grandmothers kitchen (who was a caterer) and would see her preparing meals. From that moment on, Joseph started down a path toward a tremendously successful career in the culinary world.

In 2015, Joseph had the opportunity to compete on Food Networks new highly anticipated new show “All Star Academy” and was mentored by Celebrity Iron Chef, Bobby Flay. Joseph came in first place, won $50,000, and now has the esteemed title of “Best Home Cook in America”. In addition to this, Joseph also travels full time as a conference singer, inspirational speaker. He plans to continue this path of success and hopes to have his own cooking show on a major network and open a farm to table, all you can eat, elevated comfort food restaurant in Baltimore.
