Pedestrian struck at Hilltop and Farragut in Annapolis

Serious Injury Accident – 201500002418 – Hilltop La at Farragut Ct – 06/07 at 1:49pm:  A 21 year old male pedestrian was struck by a pick up truck.  The 55 year old male driver of the pick up stayed on scene.  The pedestrian was flown to Baltimore Shock Trauma with possibly life threatening injuries.  Initial investigation shows pedestrian error to be a factor in the accident. A pedestrian was stuck along Hilltop Lane in Annapolis this afternoon shortly after 2:00pm. The incident happened near the intersection of Farragut Court near the Pip Moyer Recreation Center.

The Anne Arundel County and Annapolis City Fire Departments responded and the patient was transported to Annapolis Middle School where he or she was met by a waiting Maryland State Police helicopter and flown to Shock-Trauma in Baltimore.

Specific details of the accident and the condition of the patient are currently not available.

Hilltop lane was closed for more than an hour as police completed their investigation.
