WALK 2015-NEW flyerTomorrow, May 3rd the SPCA of Anne Arundel County will celebrate its 24th annual Walk & Run for the Animals event at Quiet Waters Park from 8am to 1pm. Last year’s event saw over 2,000 participants along with their four-legged companions, and even more are expected this year to help the SPCA reach the goal of $220,000!

The Walk & Run for the Animals is the SPCA of Anne Arundel County’s largest annual fundraiser. Funds raised from this event help the shelter continue its mission of helping animals and educating the community. Your participation will help make a difference for the thousands of animals in need, and help them find forever homes.

Our dog-friendly Tails on Trails 5K Run will begin at 8am and the Walk at 9am. Be sure to join us at the start line for the Walk at 9am for an official ribbon cutting.  Festivities include scenic trails, K9 Demonstration, Dog Agility Course, 3rd annual Cars & Critters car show, face painting, A Food Bowl for your culinary delights, and an array of vendors.
