Baysox 1K beer run this weekend

beerThe Bowie Baysox are home Thursday, May 14 through Sunday, May 17 for a four-game homestand against the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Highlights of the weekend include Bark in the Park Day and the first Baysox 1K Beer Run

‘Stache Bash, Thursday, May 14 6:35 p.m. – Show off your mustache (real or fake) at the game and save some cash. Fans who display a mustache at the box office the day of the game can purchase half-price box seat tickets. There will competitions to determine the best mustache during the game. 

Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16 6:35 p.m. – The Baysox celebrate reading with Anne Arundel/Howard/Queen Anne’s County Reading Night presented by Educational Systems Federal Credit Union. There will be fireworks after the game on Friday and Saturday night. 

Bark in the Park Day, Sunday, May 17 2:05 p.m. – Bring your dog to the game and enjoy displays and interactive dog exhibits from local vendors around the concourse, presented by Dogwood Acres Pet Retreat. 1K Beer Run – The first Baysox 1K Beer Run of the season will be held before the game at 1:15 p.m. Fans must preorder tickets to take part in the event online at www.baysoxshop.com. For $18, fans get three 12 oz. cans of Bud Light as they make three laps around the stadium warning track and then get to enjoy the afternoon Baysox game with a box seat ticket. 

Baysox Baseball – We’ll Knock Your ‘Sox Off. The Baysox 2015 season, their 23rd as the class Double-A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, is underway at Prince George’s Stadium.
