A celebration featuring free food and door prizes will take place at the Crofton Community Library to mark the opening of a newly created teens-only area. The new space offers special amenities including comfortable seating, more privacy, four Mini Mac computers and a power station for electronics. The renovations were paid for in part by donations made to the Anne Arundel County Library Foundation and from a generous gift from the Greater Crofton Council.
The name of the new teen area, which was selected by popular vote, will also be revealed at the public celebration which will also boast live music from School of Rock Gambrills, a photo booth and raffles donated by several local businesses.
