The Mid Maryland Home Expo moves to it’s new home at the Benfield Sportscenter April 11-12, and will showcase over 80 companies with everything for the home in one place.
The Expo gives consumers a chance to discover opportunities and new technologies for improving and enhancing their home, shop, compare and save with great pricing, and participate in valuable educational seminars hosted by national and local celebrity speakers. Companies will be showcasing products and services including kitchen and bath displays, design and build, decking, fencing, countertops, tile, home energy systems, landscaping, window treatments, roofing, waterproofing, heating and air and more all in one convenient location.
Seminar speakers include HGTV host Chip Wade from the hit show ELBOW ROOM. After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Chip moved on to earn his certification in residential construction while working for an Atlanta based home builder. Chip transitioned into media in 2007, lending his carpentry skills to the Atlanta team of HGTV’s Designed to Sell. Since then Chip has appeared on HGTV’s Curb Appeal: The Block, HGTV’s Showdown, HGTV’s Design Star, Oprah, and CNN. As the host, designer and contractor on his Emmy Award winning series, Elbow Room, Chip is there from concept through construction to show HGTV and DIY viewers how to customize their spaces and transform houses into homes that perfectly suit their lifestyle. Chip will present two seminars on Sat. April 11, at 12 noon and 3PM.
The Expo will also showcase the TINY HOUSE PROJECT all weekend. The Tiny House Project is a mobile hi-tech, hyper-efficient and sustainable “Tiny House”.
