‘Art on Clay’ at Stanton Center April 30th

Annapolis Parks and RecMayor Michael Pantelides invites everyone to the Stanton Community Center’s (SCC) inaugural Art on Clay art auction fundraiser. The event will raise money for after-school programs, educational programs, field trips, summer camps, sports and self-development programs for youth.

The Art on Clay fundraiser will be held Thursday, April 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Stanton Community Center gymnasium, located at 92 W. Washington Street in Annapolis. The event will consist of a live and silent art auction, artwork sales, live music and refreshments. There is no fee to attend the Art on Clay fundraiser but donations are welcomed. Michael E. Busch, Speaker of House of Delegates, will be the guest speaker. Event sponsors include Annapolis Collection Gallery and Annapolis Home Magazine.

The Stanton Community Center improves the quality of life for residents of Annapolis by providing a wide variety of human services that include leisure and cultural activities, special events, facilities and services that encourage health fitness, relaxation, enjoyment, cultural enrichment and learning. With a rich historical background, the SCC displays portraits of Annapolis’ diverse community and serves as a community resource for children and adults.
