Child struck by thrown brick in Annapolis’ Robinwood community

 

annapolis fire departmentA child was struck by a brick thrown through the window this afternoon in the City’s Robinwood community.  The initial report was that shots were fired through the window of an apartment in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue; however, it appears that a brick was the cause of the injury. The complex is owned by the Housing Authority of Annapolis (HACA). The incident happened shortly before 2:00pm.

Specific details have not been released by the police, but the injuries sustained by the child were minor and the child has been transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment.
