More than 20 artists will exhibit bronze sculpture, oil paintings, watercolor, pastel and original etchings portraying the beauty of the state. The March Treaty of Paris presentation will cover the Mount Vernon Compact between Maryland and Virginia. Noted historian and professor, Dr. Russell J. Rockefeller, will discuss this first step toward the Constitutional Convention at 2:30 p.m. The Treaty of Paris interpretive center focuses on the period 1783 to 1787, the years between the end of the Revolutionary War and the start of the Constitutional Convention. It includes reenactments, lectures, films, exhibits, walking tours, and more.

B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon

Entry fee: $60 half marathon; $70 half marathon, $80 full marathon through March 1

Join the B&A Trail Marathon (24th year) and Half Marathon (20th year). The course will run approximately two miles on residential streets with the remainder on the B&A Trail, an asphalt “rails to trails” bike and running path. There is one significant hill on the marathon course. The course is USATF certified (Boston qualifier). Volunteers will monitor all turns and most intersections. Presented by the Annapolis Striders.
