Nominated for four Tony Awards while on Broadway, Xanadu is based on the movie of the same title, which starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly. “The heart of Xanadu lies in the comedy and the score,” director Eric Langmeyer says of the production, “The entire musical features pure genuine fun along with ‘jukebox tunes’ that include iconic ‘80s ballads and upbeat tunes such as: Magic, Suddenly I’m Alive, Evil Woman, and of course the ultimate shake-your-groove-thing dance number Xanadu!”

Students in grades 9 through 12 will perform Xanadu on Thursday, March 19, Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. All performances are in the Key School Activity Building.

This family friendly show is open to the public. Tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults and are available at the door one-half hour before curtain.
