Special Lenten services offered at Annapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church

annapolisevangelicallutheranAnnapolis Evangelical Lutheran Church is offering a special series of messages during Lent. The Midweek Worship Services are scheduled from Ash Wednesday through Maundy Thursday. These will be followed by a special Holy Week service on Good Friday and culminate on Easter Sunday.

The overall theme for this Lenten Season is “The Way of a Disciple.”

Each Midweek Service focusing on that theme begins at 7pm and will be held in the “Upper Room” at Annapolis Area Christian School on Bestgate Road.

  • Ash Wed. Feb. 18 — “Repent and Believe!” (Ashes and Holy Communion offered)
  • Wed., February 25 — “Stay in Christ!”
  • Wed., March 4 — “Live in the Word!”
  • Wed., March 11 – “Pray in Faith!”
  • Wed., March 18 — “Grow with Others!”
  • Wed., March 25 — “Witness in the World!”
  • Thursday, April 2 — “Serve Those in Need!” (with Holy Communion and Stripping of the Altar”)
