Be “In The Know” with the new Visitor’s Guide from Visit Annapolis

AAACCVB 250x250Individuals who like to stay on top of all that Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay has to offer are invited to stop by the Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau’s (AAACCVB) 26 West Street Visitors Center to pick up their personal copy of the 2015 Annapolis & the Chesapeake Bay Visitors Guide.

The AAACCVB took delivery of 120,000 copies of the 72-page, full-color piece this week. AAACCVB President and CEO Connie Del Signore says the hot-off-the-press guide is a must have for people who pride themselves on being in the know. “The 2015 guide is truly a group effort. We listened to what visitors, area residents, business owners and AAACCVB partners say they’re looking for and have produced an attractive, functional piece designed to fit their needs – and the needs of our international visitors.” For the first time this year, the publication’s self-guided walking tour section has been translated into French, Spanish and Mandarin.

Produced by Annapolis-based Chesapeake Bay Media LLC, the Visitors Guide is a companion piece to the AAACCVB’s VisitAnnapolis.org website and Annapolis NOW App. Del Signore considers it a handy reference tool for busy people on the go who are looking for the latest on accommodations, attractions, things to do, dining, nightlife, transportation and services in Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay. The guide includes a map so visitors can hit the ground running with their game plan.

To make it easy for visitors to obtain the newly published piece, the AAACCVB is distributing them to BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport; State of Maryland Welcome Centers; county visitors centers throughout Maryland; and AAA offices in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and beyond.

The AAACCVB also makes multiple copies of the guides available to groups holding functions in Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay, including conference attendees, wedding parties and family reunions, to name a few. Individuals requesting bulk quantities should contact AAACCVB Director of Visitors Services Sue McKenzie in advance at [email protected] to arrange for a pickup.

The AAACCVB’s 26 West Street Visitors Center is open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. seven days a week. Its information booth at City Dock will open for the season on Maryland Day weekend, March 20-22.

The AAACCVB is a nonprofit, membership-based destination marketing organization that generates revenues for the local economy by promoting Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay to leisure and business travelers across the country and around the world.
