Baltimore Police officer charged with sex crime and assault in Pasadena incident

On February 9, 2015, at approximately 12:55 p.m., officers from the Eastern District responded for a domestic assault that just occurred at a home in the 900 block of 12th Street in Pasadena.

Upon arrival, officers met with the adult female victim, who advised that the suspect had physically and sexually assaulted her inside of a residence. She identified the suspect as Wayne Alfred Adams, a member of the Baltimore Police Department. The victim advised that this incident occurred after an argument. The victim stated several hours later they again became involved in an argument. The victim indicated this ultimately ended with the suspect spitting on her and physically removing her from the bathroom. The victim told officers that she feared for her safety.

The suspect was arrested and transported to Eastern District. The suspect’s supervisors were notified and responded to the scene. His weapons were recovered and stored for safekeeping. The suspect was charged with second degree assault and fourth degree sex offense. The victim was initially held on $40,000 bond and according to online court records, he has been released. Any questions related to his tenure and assignment should be directed to the Baltimore Police Department.
