Galway Bay plans several events in conjunction with Irish Week

2015_StPatsWeekEventPosterGalway Bay Irish Restaurant and Pub is pleased to announce Irish Week in Annapolis. Galway Bay co-owner Anthony Clarke and John O’Leary, founder of the Annapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Warrior Events, have together encouraged local businesses and organizations to plan events in celebration of Irish history and culture in the week leading up to Saint Patrick’s Day, March 17th. The inaugural opening ceremony and gala event, “The Hooley”, will be held this year at the Loews Annapolis Hotel followed the next day by the 3rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Between these events and March 17th businesses throughout Annapolis are invited to participate by either creating their own Irish Heritage or Cultural event or by participating in one of the events that has been arranged. The local conference and visitors bureau is helping to promote the week through their website, and have set up a designated page for public promotion; to see the most up to date schedule of events, go to www.AnnapolisIrishWeek.com.
