2 men with heroin at Westfield Annapolis food court charged by Anne Arundel police

On February 9, 2015, at approximately 4:05 p.m., officers from Southern District responded to the 100 block of Jennifer Road in Annapolis for a theft call. Through their investigation, it was learned that the suspects staying at that location were possibly involved in drug distribution. Officers received information that the suspects were possibly in the Food Court at Westfield Annapolis Mall.

Officers responded to the Westfield Annapolis Mall Food Court and located individuals matching the description provided to the officers. Through the investigation, the officers recovered 11 small baggies each containing suspected heroin, one small baggie containing suspected cocaine, a small plastic baggie containing suspected “MDMA” and a small plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana. Southern District TPU & TNT responded to assist with the investigation. Further investigation led to the execution of a search warrant, which led to drug paraphernalia being seized. Both suspects were charged with possession and distribution of narcotics.
