St. John’s College tutor Matthew Caswell will give a lecture titled “What Does Music Mean? Examples from Bach, Theory from Kant” at St. John’s College. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium on Friday, January 16 at 8 p.m.
Caswell received his bachelor’s from St. John’s College and his doctorate from Boston University. He was an instructor of philosophy at Boston University before he joined the St. John’s College faculty in 2005.
