Burn off those extra holiday calories and earn money for the Special Olympics Maryland at the 2nd Annual Freeze Your Buns 5K Walk/Run sponsored by the Anne Arundel Community College Department of Public Safety and Police on Saturday, Jan. 17.
Race day registration begins at 9 a.m. The race begins at 10 a.m. until noon and will start and end in the parking lot behind the Center for Applied Learning and Technology (CALT) on AACC’s Arnold campus. To reach the CALT parking lot, turn onto West Campus Drive from Ritchie Highway and go straight ahead at the first intersection.
Awards will go to the top individual fundraiser, the top fundraising team, the top three male and female finishers as well as the top three males and females in the following categories: 15 years old and under; 16-19 years old; 20-29 years old; 30-39 years old; 40-49 years old; 50-59 years old; 60-69 years old; and 70 and above years old.
