holidaysThe Encore Chorale will perform a free concert featuring music that reflects holiday traditions from around the world at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, in the Robert E. Kauffman Theater of the Pascal Center for Performing Arts on Anne Arundel Community College’s Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway.

The Encore Chorale is one of the programs of AACC’s Center for Aging and features singers who are at least 55 years old. Directed by founder Jeanne Kelly, the December concert combines Encore Chorale programs from AACC, Towson and Southern Maryland and includes opportunities for the audience to sing along.

Some of the songs include “African Noel,” “Christmas Pipes” and “I Saw Three Ships” in the Celtic tradition and the Spanish “iCantar!” The Chorale also will perform the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Messiah.

No reservations or tickets are needed. The concert is free. For information about the program or Encore Chorale at AACC, visit http://www.aacc.edu/lifestages/encore.cfm.
