Public legislative priorities forum scheduled

Maryland-FlagThe State Delegates and Senators from Anne Arundel County will hold a Legislative Priorities Forum for the public on Thursday, December 4th, at 7:00 p.m.  County and community organizations will have an opportunity to present their legislative priorities, issues, and needs to the County’s state legislators in advance of the 2015 Legislative Session.  Each group will be limited to 5 minutes for their briefing, and registration will be handled on a first-come basis.  To sign up to present at the Legislative Priorities Forum or if you have any questions, please contact the Delegation Administrator, Kathy O’Donovan at [email protected] or (410) 841-3402.  The registration deadline is Tuesday, November 25th.

The meeting will take place in the Joint Committee Hearing Room located in the Legislative Services Building, 90 State Circle, Annapolis, MD  21401.  The building is located directly across from the State House and Governor’s Mansion on Lawyers Mall.  Free parking is available after 6:00 p.m. in the Bladen Street Garage at the intersection of Calvert and St. John’s Streets.  Parking is also available at the Gotts Court Garage near the Visitors’ Center.  A map on the web site, www.downtownannapolis.org, shows where both parking garages are located.
