Conservation in action at Hammond-Harwood House

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a museum to conserve antiques? On Friday November 7th visitors will have the opportunity to see conservation in action with Schoenbauer Furniture Services technicians in our dining room. The museums 18th century drop leaf table will be conserved in order for the table to be put on exhibit again and opened up so visitors may see how it would have been set in the late 18th century.
