Hospice of the Chesapeake recently received a $10,000 donation from the organizers of the 2014 Annapolis Irish Festival. The annual event draws thousands of visitors to the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds each July. The proceeds will support the nonprofits programs and services in both Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties.

“Each year we are grateful to be one of the beneficiaries of this outstanding community festival. Our staff and volunteers shared our mission at an information table and also helped sell tickets. This opportunity allowed us to introduce ourselves to the many visitors attending the celebration,” said Michael McHale, President and CEO, Hospice of the Chesapeake.
