Anne Arundel County Executive candidate Steve Schuh was endorsed today by Maryland Business for Responsible Government.

“Steve Schuh has earned his stripes in the legislative trenches and has a long, well-established record of voting for a healthy business climate and economy, and against policies that have driven businesses out of our State,” said MBRG President Duane Carey. “We’re confident that, as Anne Arundel County Executive, he will tap into that background to implement policies that jumpstart jobs and revenue.”

Earlier this year, MBRG awarded to Schuh its prestigious John Shaw Award for his exemplary four-year voting record. He is the only member of the Maryland General Assembly in the last 20 years to earn a 100 percent pro-business rating from MBRG and a 100 percent pro-environment rating from the Maryland League of Conservation Voters in the same year (2010).

“My vision includes plans for lower taxes, economic development and environmental protection,” Delegate Schuh said. “My voting history is proof that it is possible to be pro-business and pro-environment.”
