Man dies in Annapolis double shooting

UpdateOn Monday, September 29th at 7:40 a.m. Officers from the Annapolis Police Department responded to an apartment in the 1100 block of Madison Street for a report of a shooting.  Upon arrival officers located Arthurdella Harris, 49, and Tony Smith, 54, suffering from gun shot wounds.  Harris and Smith were transported R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.  Smith later died from his wounds.  Harris is currently in surgery.

Harris and Smith both resided at the apartment where the shooting occurred and were in a long term relationship.  After initial investigation it appears Smith shot Harris twice and then shot himself.
