David Orso BookSeverna Park native and nationally ranked real estate agent, David Orso, exposes the biggest myths in residential real estate in his recently released book, Step Inside: The Unfiltered Truth about Listing and Selling Your Home.

“This book is about helping homeowners protect their largest asset – their homes,” said Orso, who holds an MBA from Loyola College. “With over thirteen years of experience in real estate, I know how important it is to always work with professionals, especially when you are dealing with such a large financial transaction. In Step Inside, I wanted to share my knowledge and the truth about listing and selling your home because honesty and communication are a huge part of being a true professional.”

Orso has represented many residents across Maryland, especially in Severna Park, Arnold, and Annapolis, in the sale and purchase of their home. He currently works as an agent affiliated with Century 21 New Millennium, the number one Century 21 firm in the world. Orso is ranked number one in Maryland within his firm and number eighteen in the entire United States for all of Century 21, as of July 2014. He was voted the number one real estate agent by the readers of the Severna Park Voice and was also named one of REAL Trends’ Best Real Estate Agents in America.

Orso dedicated the book to his wife, Dawn Orso, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of 2014.  David is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the book to the Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC), where he serves on the Building Traditions Society’s Board of Directors and the Pediatric Council.

“I have been involved with AAMC for years and they have been incredibly amazing with the care of my family’s medical needs,” said Orso. “I want them to know that I appreciate their professionalism, expertise and genuine care.”

In addition to his work at AAMC, Orso is on the board of directors for Chartwell Country Club and Bello Machre.  In his free time, Orso volunteers as a coach for the local Broadneck area youth sports program.

Step Inside, which became available for purchase on Amazon.com on August 1, also covers how to find the best agent, what to do before listing your home, the keys to pricing your home, the roles of listing agents, and the trade “secrets” of going from listed to sold smoothly and successfully.
